 Anyone Fished Fossil Creek in NRH

Just looking at maps.google.com and found Linda Spurlock park and Fossil Creek park in North Richland Hills - anyone fished these?
What was it like?
There is also a small lake just south of 820 behind Five Star Ford - looks like might be Meadow Lake. Is that private? ANyone fished that body of water?
Just looking for new spots to wet a line.
