Well the wife and I closed on our house in Texas on Thursday and left on Friday for our new home in Georgia which we close on Monday. We left early Friday morning and drove to Tuscaloosa Alabama and stayed the night. Left this morning and driving the final 225 miles most of which in heavy rain. I found out at almost 60 I still have my driving skills lol. Anyway safely at our hotel and ready for a few drinks at the pool. Movers left Thursday afternoon and are scheduled here in Georgia on Wednesday. Our two other cars left this morning and should be here on Tuesday. My Tundra got surprising mileage at 16.9 but I did have the cruise set a lot of the way. Thank you to the great state of Texas for 20 great years filled with exciting memories. I hope the State of Georgia will do the same. Excited for new adventures in a new place and making many more great memories. It will be an interesting ride for sure. God bless you all and good luck to everyone.

Good luck. Enjoy Georgia and hope you catch a bunch of fish and the move is all you wanted it to be.

Good luck. After living in Texas for 57 years, I relocated to Huntsville, AL. All in all, it has been a positive experience.

Waiting on Bob Davis' next selfie

Good luck down there!

We got our move complete a couple weeks ago but luckily for us, it was only about a mile from our old house haha. Just time for a little more space

Canton is a nice place to live. Lake Allatoona will definitely be a culture shock to you coming from Texas, you will need to learn how to catch them spots, large mouth are few and far between. Lake Weiss in Rome Ga. was one of my favorite lakes when I lived there, they have a good large mouth and spot population. Lake Lanier has both but in the winter months it will take over 20#'s to win with all being spots.... same goes for Carters lake and I'm not sure I've ever caught a large mouth there. If you want to get away from the spots head to Lakes Oconee and Sinclair.

If you want a heads up where to fish on any of the lakes hit me up, Bob Smith and them Allatoona boys will put a beating on you.
If you want to pan for gold PM me and I'll give some places to look.
