I watched the documentary on David Cassidy last night. Was it good, not really, but I did find it interesting.

I'm angry after watching this show...Clearly, Kathleen Peterson never will receive justice if she was murdered...way too many questions and horrible law enforcement techniques...not necessarily by the police, but by the support staff/investigators.

mixed feelings. I think he was guilty. I do not think he got a fair trial. I also don't think the prosecution had a case on him.

I honestly do not know. If he went back to trial, I don't think he'd have been convicted with the evidence they had. That initial investigator's story never made sense, though.

When I see a trial like this, I am amazed at how both sides can throw out "theories" or their version of what happened. The prosecutors said they had an argument about him being bisexual. From all accounts they were a happy couple. His adopted kids said the same thing. It is hard to hide friction between a couple with kids present. The other thing that I was taken back by was the judge allowing the death of a friend 17 years earlier in Germany. They had the body exhumed after Germany ruled the death was an accident, but ruled the other way. No matter if he was guilty or innocent, his life went into the dumper. Lost everything and spent 8 years in prison.

I'm not sure if he did it or not. It's pretty weird if it's an accident but also weird that she didn't have any scull fractures or brain trauma.
This series really goes to show what a mess the justice system is. They had no case but they used circumstantial evidence and some really underhanded science to ensure a conviction. Between poor police work, a crooked DA, and unqualified forensic tech they botched the heck out of that case.

Guilty, guilty, guilty. There was more evidence they conveniently left out of the show.

I always have to laugh when watching "Forensic Files" and they go to these extremes at the end of the show to recreate the crime. Some of them recreations are just laughable.
