I'm fishing a largemouth tournament on PK this weekend and need some advice. This deep, ultra clear water is not my favorite to fish, I've only fished the lake once and managed only a couple of shorts. Has anyone had any luck this year? If so what structure should I focus on? What depth are they biting? Are the fish moving out to the main lake points like most other lakes? What baits seem to do the best on the lake? Thanks y'all, any and all advice will be much appreciated!

They will be shallow on heavy cover up the river. Target Reeds with small 1/4 oz. Buzz Baits and Chatter Baits. Fish them as tight to the cover and parallel to the cover and as close as possible. Bass are seeking shade. There are a few boat houses that have brush and will most likely be the only ones that will produce. The deep water points that you are asking about are holding fish on specific ones. You have to do your mapping work to find the ones with the best irregular features for them to hold fish. I can help with he maps if interested in my work.
Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success. Fished it yesterday and it was pretty horrible.
TPWD was shocking fish for a fish count and were even having to move around alot to get anything.
I have determined there are only 4 fish left in the entire lake.
We fished dirty water, clear water, deep water, offshore structure, boat docks....wacky, square bill, carolina rig, XD6.....Nothing produced.

My last two trips we caught several 18"+ fish while Striper fishing, and no, we didn't clean them. Drop offs into the channel around long points near trees was the type of structure we were on. A Rig and 3 1/2" swim baits may still work.
