Although I am retired, I recently took on a construction contract for a friend and have not been able to fish at least once per week, which is normal for me. That being what it is, Ginny and I decided to explore Belton Lake by driving it’s perimeter by car. This is one of the few bodies of water (salt or fresh) in Texas that I have not fished. We checked out every spot where we could get to the lake, and I am wondering what took me so long to find this jewel. Belton reminds me of Whitney, a lake I fish 5 or 6 times per year, yet Belton is closer to Waller, where we live than Whitney. I am anxious to crappie fish this lake. If any Belton crappie fisherman want some company, I am available, and will keep your secrets as well as buy gas and lunch…Lawton

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
