this is true at home, but our office is in Arlington. the power flickered on and off several times in the plant. every time that happens all the CNC machines have to be restarted, rehomed and all the tools touched off on again. One of our new gear hobbers broke an $8,000 cutter this afternoon when the lights flickered.

a facility this size is far too big for that. we have a generator to keep the servers running and cooled. you would need an electrical sub station to run the rest.

That's the size of the one we have. Won't run anything in the shop (3 phase 480v). Not worth the investment to keep corporate up. We just reroute the sales calls to a branch.

Oh yeah. Plus, you don't want to run CNC machines on a generator. They don't like power fluctuations. We probably have 200 machines at this location.
