West Fort Worth? That section of town has a power grid problem for decades. this is true at home, but our office is in Arlington. the power flickered on and off several times in the plant. every time that happens all the CNC machines have to be restarted, rehomed and all the tools touched off on again. One of our new gear hobbers broke an $8,000 cutter this afternoon when the lights flickered. Pay your d*** bill. The Power Company

The corporate gurus must be too cheap to install a Generac.

The corporate gurus must be too cheap to install a Generac. a facility this size is far too big for that. we have a generator to keep the servers running and cooled. you would need an electrical sub station to run the rest.

Not worth the investment to keep corporate up. We just reroute the sales calls to a branch.

So whats the power drain, the shop? Oh yeah. Plus, you don't want to run CNC machines on a generator. They don't like power fluctuations. We probably have 200 machines at this location.
