 Matagorda yakkin for BIG fish 4-15!!!!

We headed down Friday afternoon and set up camp near 3 mile cut. The wind and weather was terrible Saturday, but this is what we woke up to find on Sunday...  We rigged up in a hurry and paddled out. We anchored up about 400 yards out and in 10 minutes, IT WAS ON!!!!! Me with my 1st bull red...  Then my buddies wife hooked up on her 1st ever bullred from the yak...  And a nice one at that!...  I was barely anchored back up when she started screaming again, a small shark with a lot of fight...  My wife couldn't stand it, so she joined in on the fun and landed the BIGGEST RED OF THE DAY (a mean one too)...  I, of course had to cap the day off with another nice bull... I saw y'all out there. Yes Saturday was miserable. We drove by and figured you were all huddled in the tents trying to stay warm. I made the mistake of wading out to the sandbar to cast without waders on. Man was I cold when I got back. Sunday was beautiful, but unfortunately we had to leave. Just my luck. Glad to see that you caught some good fish on Sunday, though.

R U kidding me??? i haven't seen it that flat in... a long time. it must be pretty awesome paddling out there and catching some fish like that. those are the kind of days you dream of.
