I am not much of a night fisherman, but the other night my neigbor's dock was exploding with palm sized white bass. There were a ton of minnows under the dock lights. You could get a hit on anything that hit the water. My nephew caught a 3 inch white bass on a mepps #4 spinner, hooked through the lip. Didn't look like the bass could have fit the hook in his mouth. Some experienced night fisherman might have been able to get to some bigger whites since I'm sure they were down there too. We caught about 10 and decided to call it a night.
