 Cedar Creek lake crappie?

I am new to crappie fishing and my wife's niece and I are gonna try and hunt some down on Friday. Do you guys/gals have any tips or fishing reports on crappie here on CC. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thx

12-20ft brush piles, with White Hot Thump Chubbies on unpainted heads. Fish main lake brush if you can find them. The fist couple hours of daylight will be best.
