Hybrids grow like footballs. Having them over 24” is very very rare. At least for me

Here at Cedar Creek I have caught many 26 inch hybrids, a few 27 inch ones and one 28 inch one, and my son caught a 28 inch one. It likely depends on the lake re how big they get.

Excellent report, thanks for sharing that. For sure a great job on an unfamiliar lake.... thumb

I went with a subscriber on Sunday to Lewisville for the first time ever, and the weatherman lied (again!). It was whistling over 20mph, and my friend's trolling motor couldn't stay over the gravel pits. We tried some other places, but it was just too windy, and we got skunked. Sure is a pretty lake though.

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!

gborg: Just noticed your question. Ninety % were caught on Mepps 4, but some were caught on #2 with 3/16 oz weight up the line about 15 inches.
