Any feedback from Blue Wave owners is greatly appreciated. I'm still boat shopping and looking at BWs.

I have owned a Bluewave 22' Striper model w/150HP Evinrude since 1998. It is a great boat as for as I'm concerned. Since the hull weighs 1400 lbs. the 150 handles it very well. Although I normally fish with 2-3 people, we have have water skied with 6 people in the boat. I have a pedestal seat front and back and use it for striper and bass fishing. We fish Whitney and the boat will handle 20 mph winds. I have not had a single problem with the boat. It is well constructed of quality materials. I have never been disappointed with the boat. If you have other questions, let me know. 98'bluewave

Ensignjason,
I bought my Blue Wave V-Bay 180 in Jan 06, its a 05 model w/90hp yamaha 2 stroke. I have been very pleased with it so far. I've had it in 20mph winds with no problems taking on the waves. It's a dry ride and the deep-v takes on the waves just great. I would like to say that when drift fishing or on trolling motor, you need to be careful about keeping your balance. If you have someone with you that moves and your off balance when they move, like one foot on the trolling motor pedel, you might go swimming.
I haven't done it yet but know its coming. smirk I wish it had more storage but I think its hard to beat as far as bang for the buck. It will do 38mph on gps which is plenty for me. I think with a couple of slight mods 40 would be easy to get. It's my first boat and I've been very happy with it so far. It drafts in about 12" of water w/motor up and I've run the motor tilted up 5deg in 1.5ft. crazy I just wish it was a little wider. Any questions feel free to PM me and I'll give you a call back. I work nights but I won't call you after 9:00 P.M. smile

Blue Wave boats are built now in Seminole, OK. They are great boats. My dad delivers boats for them now. He delivered one to Cabela's a month or two ago. They can deliver it to you door, and are high quality boats. Once you get the arrangements made, I could go up and pick it up for you, or have my dad deliver it.

Lake Arlington uses a Blue Wave to get people out to their pontoon to start the yaught races.

You can get their phone number by calling information and asking for the number for Blue Wave boats in Seminole, OK. They can answer any questions you may have.

Jason I've got a 2004 21'3 Pulse, It's a Liner boat with the extended fishing deck in the front and I absolutely love it!!! The only problem is there is not enough floor space for my bait tank... If you're a serious bait fisherman go with a Classic that doesn't have the Console livewell.. This will give you plenty of room for a tank. Other than that solid as a rock!! It's yellow with a 225 hitched up and is fixing to be all over Texoma as soon as baseball season is over!!!

You might contact Bruce Hysmith and his crew at Texoma (TX side biologists) and see what they think of the boat acquired with funding from the 6 OG's...

Also bought the Paul Mauck and the OK crew one last year...these guys probably put'em through more than many of us.
