I was out there Sunday. Put in at like 7:30pm caught 15 keepers in like 30 minutes at pulled the boat back out before dark. Top water action was good that day.

Well Keith and I as well as XYZ and Fuzzy have had alot of fun out there. I still catch more on Lewisville but Benbrook is only 5 minutes from my house. Excellent for an afternoon after work---like tomorrow Keith! XYZ has done well with the TTF trout killers and I have done OK with storm wildeyes.

haha you know whats funny jason? I always thought that you live on 287 after midloathian because there is an ensign rd exit. haha may not be funny to you but for some stupid reason i always think of you when I pass that road on the way to houston.

Tomorrow should be a good day if the winds cooperate but that won't be a problem in the Triton I suppose. IME when the slab works, it will almost always outcatch the wildeyes, although the wildeye is one of my goto baits and is a solid producer. Just not as well as the slab when it works

I fished it monday and it was slow until 3:30 pm. Had only 11 keepers. Then went back to the airplane field for a final try. Left at 5:oo pm with two limits of sandies, also caught two hybrids 15 and 17 inches of course they were returned. In case any of you see me out there say Hi. I'm in a 185 bass tracker with a 60 hp merc 4 stroke.

Hey Fuzzy,
Its been softball, softball and more softball..... (and no Im not talking about weekendswarriors, cause he has none) Its not our lives so much getting in the way, its our kids. But I wouldnt trade it for anything. I am still planning on going Friday morning depending on the weather. Hopefully the wind will be below 30mph.

How will all the rain affect everything? My office and house are about 5 miles from the lake and I know we got hammered yesterday afternoon but I don't think we got much last night. I was thinking of going out after work today.

Yep...kids!!!! I stopped fishing for a long time after having kids - best investment I have ever made.

All the run off will muddy the lake up, but as they say = "Fish Got to Eat".

Start fishing the same pattern then change it up some if needed. Those fish will still be chasing fish up shallow since I figure the shad spawn is not too far off. So hit the points and the Aircraft field - should bag a few sand bass out there...
