Hey everyone:
I got a call from Wes Campbell, the operator of Bend A Rod guide service.
I was supposed to go on a trip with him the morning of June 2nd, he said
he can't promise that right now because someone crashed into his boat.
He was in the boat at the time and from what I gather, he was very lucky not
to get hurt. He is following up with insurance to see what he needs to do.
So, if you can, please give Wes some business once he gets back up and running.
I want all of our wonderful guides to know we are willing to support
them in a time of need. They give a lot to us, they work hard, and focus
on customer service. Let's show them it's not a one-way street!

Yeah Wes called me about this issue on Sunday afternoon. Seemed pretty taken back about the whole ordeal. I hope he is back on his feet as soon as possible. I'm very glad no one was injured.

Hope he gets a new boat and back on the water soon! He has been putting some hybrids in the boat on his last few trips

I couldn't imagine! You have all that lake and somebody still hits you....WOW! This is why I fish at the butt crack of dawn most days and NEVER fish on weekends just to avoid as many people as possible! Poor Wes!

Wes, if you'd like to use my boat until yours is ups and running shoot me a note. It's a 20-foot deck boat with trolling motor and Helix 7. We don't use it at all during the week and will be out of town this weekend.
