Ima try lavon either tomorrow/Wednesday depending on wind. I don't really target either, just want blues or channels.

Welp, i'm headed out there today, no wind, but I'm too impatient to wait til next week. I don't have any bait other than a cast net so if I don't catch any bait then it's a lake level scouting trip I did see a few ducks last time which I thought was cool for May.

And no luck. 1 drum. Can�t say i gave it my all. Couldn�t find any shad for bait. I love the commrodery among fishermen. Had a guy where i was tossing for zero shad offer a few of his in exchange for ice which i happily obliged. Then twice where i was fishing had people offer a few fish. Man no wind today. Water looked amazingly clear. I�ll be back next week when the wind kicks up.

I�ve used that and actually had a can in the bag but maybe 4 years old lol. Wasn�t much left so chunked it. It worked good and definitely better than nothing, but i prefer shad, that and i didn�t feel like changing out hooks .
