Yesterday was my maiden voyage with my talons. They were working flawlessly. Then one of them stopped retracting. The only way I could retract it was to manually hit the button on the actual Talon and it would come up about an inch every time I hit the button and then stopped again. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

I have a couple Talons on my boat and haven't had any trouble like you are mentioning.

There are some reports on the internet of various troubles. Didn't find one like you are mentioning.

I'd try and find an authorized repair facility.

Hate to say it.....but it may need a good cleaning already......if you haven't already, flush it from the top down with water.....You might also try laying it down, extending and spraying some silicon along the whole shaft......

If this was his maiden voyage, I am hoping he has brand new Talons!

You may try calling them first before you take them in. They have good customer service from what I hear. I've never once had a problem with my Talons.

Periodically it is good practice to go to deep water
and lower your Talon(s) all the way and rinse the
mud and clay off the spike And sections.
Helps prevent problems lowering and Raising them.
