I did $9k worth of damage to glass boat on the north end of Palestine a few years back while just fishing, came off one stump while on the trolling motor and came down on another that was shaped like a spike. OUCH!!! Palestine is one of the hardest lakes on glass boats there there is anywhere.
Just don't crawl under your boat after you've had it a few months or you'll be like WTF!!!!!

Get an older xpress. Problem solved. Best money ever spent if you fish the Palestine type lakes. It's not a matter of if but when you will damage a glass boat

Just fish , my Beater Skeeter takes me where the fish should be . Course you might be the one who is wiping the boat down instead of walking with a bag of fish to the weigh in .

If you don't have a hot foot you can kneel on the seat to get your head high enough to where you can spot the stumps. For me this is tough from a sitting position.

I rode over one years ago in Flat Creek that when I came over it and the boat sat back down it came up between the transom and motor. It was about 5" in diameter and must have pushed over a little while going over it. I could not lift the boat or power off of it. Had to flag someone down (before cell phones) and get them to bring me a saw to get in the water and cut it off.

When Fork was 7' low I took my HDS 12 and marked waypoint through the timber and stayed in the middle of any trees that I saw. I can run from long branch straight across to bell or rogers, main lake to back end of ray branch without getting off pad and of course down little caney to quail hollow. That run still makes me pucker.

Duct tape your throttle button so that you CAN pull it out of gear instantly....
Doing this on fork made the difference between my boat idling up on a stump to just under my seat and making all kinds of cracking noises. To stopping 2-3 feet in front of my seat and no more crunching sounds.....
You would be amazed how much faster it is, at the slightest rise of my boat I pull it to neutral.
