Those of you that like the speed craw, do you mostly Tx. rig it? I have only used it as a jig trailer and it works very well for that.
I would have a tough time choosing what Zoom bait I like best because so many of them work well for me. Early on I caught a ton of fish C-rigging the french fry and the lizard works well on a C-rig also. I have very good luck with the finesse worm on a drop shot. The super fluke and the trick worm can be fished many different ways and they all catch fish. I love the speed craw as a jig trailer. Zoom ole monster is also a fish catcher.

Are you supposed to separate the backside of the two "curled arms" from the body on the brush hog? Yes

Are you supposed to separate the backside of the two "curled arms" from the body on the brush hog? I have done it and personally have never seen it make any difference whatsoever. I don't separate them now at all.

The brush hog is great but I would venture to say I catch more fish on a fluke than anything else. I can fish about any lure on any lake and if the bite is tough I can usually get the fluke rod out and scratch something together with it no matter the time of year or lake. Been many times I was going to get skunked and pulled it out and caught a few to salvage the day.

Are you supposed to separate the backside of the two "curled arms" from the body on the brush hog? Yes I have done better by cutting just the curve out of the plastic and making it look like 4 "legs"'sticking off. The bass prefer it that way.....at least the ones I've talked to.

Are you supposed to separate the backside of the two "curled arms" from the body on the brush hog? You can cut those arms off and the two wide ones off for a more finesse presentation, but don't tell anyone I told you that.
