Guys, my family is going to Broken Bow over the next few days. I am going to pull the Bass Cat along to do a little bass chasing. Haven't been there in maybe 10 years. Is any thing working to get a fish or 2?

I went last summer; water was clear. I hit points with small soft plastics and caught a few that way.
Enjoy the beautiful view !!

Clearish spook type top waters near gaines bned area on the north end of the lake for schooling kentuckies. Shakey Head on rocky points in about 8 to 12ft of water. Split shot senko rigs on any rocky bank if its overcast (especially if the bank has a bit of a ledge before it drops)

Shakey head trick worm/ Carolina rig centipede.... big small mouth are being caught right now. Hit the island at night with a jerk bait or lipless crank and catch walleye.

You guys are making me regret selling my cabin up there, just listing it now. I love that lake! Drop shot in summer is killer, just find brush piles in drains. But now, thinking post-spawn, jerkbaits and swim baits for the suspended fish should be turning on.

I went one time end of July, it was freakin hot. Not a breath of wind, it was too hot to fish thats for sure. I'd like to make another trip up one of these days. Pretty place to fish.
Thanks, Billy

Top water bite early is producing up to 18 fish in the mornings on chug bugs and poppers. Spinner bait is good as well on cloudy days on windy points. Buddy of mine lives there and he had a 95 fish day two weeks ago so it's slowed a little bit but fishing is still good. Late evening bite is producing walleyes.

Thanks David! What areas of the lake should I focus on? Looks like we are staying by the Lower Cedar Creek area.

Good luck!, but the LMBs are more active in the late fall. Summer is beautiful up there, but the fishing is not so good.
