Haven't been to Grapevine yet this year but I've been wanting to. Might go this weekend.

Little report on Grapevine, went out this morning, got to the fishing dock at 6, caught first fish by 7. Landed a new PB channel around 8:15, only to have a fish pull in my 12 foot pole about 30 minutes later. Decent amount of bait, caught plenty of shad and a few blue gill in the cast new, right at the bank.

I was out on Grapevine Monday. Wasn't catfishing, but the shad were spawning up against the shoreline right at daybreak. If you can cast a net you should be able to catch bait.

The channel weighted between 10-12 pounds, not a giant, but sure was fun to reel in.

We were on Choke this weekend. It must have a hole in it. Very low. We launched from the ramp at the state park. A lot of stumps just under the surface. Once you get out on the main body of the lake its not bad. Caught a limit of eater blues. Be safe.
Wish for what you want. Pray for what you need T-Rex
