Hi guys, I'm working on a video on flats carp fishing. The working title is "Flat Out Carp". I've got the first half of it edited and I have a few more scenes I want to shoot before I'm ready to edit the rest of it. Anyway, I came across a cool piece of music that works great as a teaser and thought I would edit a short trailer video to let you guys see what's coming. You really do an awesome job with your videos. Very professional. Are you using rust colored woolly buggers to catch them? Thank you sir! It's a fly I tie, basically a wooly bugger. Olive marabou tail with three or four strands of crystal flash, red chenille body with a palmered brown hackle, tied on a mustad 34007 size four stainless hook. It works great in shallow water, about a foot and a half deep or so. Very slow sink rate and quiet entry into the water. If the water is much deeper the fish will swim right under it and not see it though. Most of the fish I'm after are in very shallow water, a lot of the time with there back out of the water, and you can drop this fly in real close without spooking them or getting instantly hung up on bottom (I've got video).

Wonderful. I look forward to the completed project.
What's your push pole? Length? Single piece? Weight? Do you have a method for anchoring the boat in order to take a shot while out by yourself?
