I have not but I'll bet he can't hold a candle to Jeff Ruby Steaks.

I like the bread and sweet butter from that place. I very rarely ever eat steaks at restaurants; Would rather cook my own.

We know how we like ours steaks cooked.
What do you think about the cut?
Trim up a little more?
Or do you like that piece of hard
fat in the edge?

I've never eaten at one around here, but some friends of ours in Paducah, KY took us to the one there. They went every week and raved about it, but while it wasn't the worst steak I ever had, it wasn't very good.

Good story about this guy though. $60K is a lot of money to most folks.

Texas Roadhouse is a decent steak for the money. Your not going to confuse it wit a high end steakhouse such as Pappas Bros. However it's not bad for the cost. Usually I get the sirloin because it's decent need fits within the expense account $25 limit.

I'm flat spoiled when it comes to beef. Pretty much my entire life my grandpa, dad or brother has been raising high quality beef, so I get a custom quarter butchered just the way I like it every fall. My brother and his business partner kicked it up an notch and now raise kobe style cattle. food I get to call the aging, and thickness of all the cut's, and man doe's the flavor beat anything you can buy at the store. Think I'll go set some out now to defrost for this weekend...
