Sunday morning I was sitting on a brushpile not too far from shore on Sam Rayburn and watched the procession of bass anglers go by. They were beating the bankwater to a froth and catching nothin. But they were intent on geting that Mcdonalds money. I kept thinking, if I were fishing in that tourny, I would be worm fishing these brush piles. But,I enjoyed watching them. And none of them noticed as I was steadily catching them white perch and an occasional bass. Fishing was better on Monday after all them thousands of boats were gone. Had the lake to myself. Limited out by 9am with none under 11 inches up to 15 in. It was a perfect birthday.
The game wardens were as active as the fish. Got checked twice by two different wardens. The first one came by again but waved off when he recognised me. Bryan, did you get any of them money bass? Surely you fished Mcdonalds?
