Let's talk Cedar Creek..... I have all the waypoints and "spots" I need on my newly acquired graph what I need is an idea of a good starting point on "plastic bait colors". Worms - flukes - brush hogs Fishing on Athens it is Watermelon Red & Mardi Gras ,,,,, but that water is a lot clearer than Cedar Creek do I go to black--dark purple--browns ?????

You just cannot beat the pumpkin seed Power worm in 7". Baby Bass Fluke is also good in clear water adding a little Chart. worm dye with a cotton swab here and there. Baby Brush Hogs is Watermelon/Red.

Donald .... if Cedar Creek was "clear water" I would throw what I do on Athens BUT Cedar Creek is stained water and I do not fish very many lakes that have a real off-brown tint to them. I probably don't even own stained water colors ........ BUT I have 50 waypoints in the new/used graph and this boat and I have to try them out. I hear they are good spots

Blue fleck and you are set for all areas on Cedar Creek....and everywhere else for that matter. Even works great on Athens! For real. Its a great muddy/off colored water color(which usually describes CC) but I have found blue fleck just as efficient as other colors in clear water. We fishermen over think colors. Thats why I have colors I never use.
