I went out last Saturday before rain hit but couldn't find a fish, but I just can't seem to find anything to bite on EM except catfish?

Rescheduling all of my trips. Till we get some warm weather. None of the guides catching any. Should get better next week . Warm all week and no cold fronts. But it sucks real bad right now.

Well . I am a hardhead, I will try again tomorrow (Sat.). I figure they have to break loose sometime.

Fish the lighted docks at night. Been out twice in the last few weeks and caught a mess of them each time. Usually from right after sunset until about ten o'clock. They bite pretty good on a white mister twister swim bait with a chartreuse head.

Was out in the wind and rain last Saturday and caught 50 plus nice sandies mid lake trying for blacks. Hope this helps . Shad were trying to jump on the bank like they were spawning. Best of luck

Caught a limit yesterday evening the birds helped me find them

Picked up a limit this morning in about 2 hours . On the bank . Was south of island . Shad spawn still in full bloom . Good Luck

I was noodle fishing yesterday and while waiting on the catfish to bite, we fished a point and caught a few whites 6 i think.
The catfish bite was good we caught 12 in a about 3 hrs.

4-29-18 out from 9 to 2pm. worked main lake points with rattle trap caught 25.. .. all were over 12". took 12 home all over 15 16" real monsters

Great reports. Ya'll guys won the weekend. I got 4 Saturday and 1 Sunday. Sounds like I was not patient enough at the points I did try. If I don't get anything after about 5 minutes I move on.

Just to add to my knowledge base. I have a couple of questions.

1. When ya'll caught the fish on a point was it on a wind blown point or did it matter? I think generally, when I have caught casting into a point it has been wind blown.

2. Were the fish right on the bank or a bit deeper? Whenever I have had success on a point or some sort of shore, I get most of my bites close to the shore. Seldom do I get a hit after I have reeled more than 3 or 4 times.

Ones we caught sat were chasing shad in 7-10' close to bank.

Caught all mine in less than 3 ft of water. Shad were all over the banks. both weekends
