Many blessed days up this little creek have made it a peaceful paradise to me.. where do you find your paradise?

Yegua and Nails are definately waaaay up on the list with the Newman Bottom area maybe the top spot in my heart. The Pedernales and Colorado Bend are also favorite places of mine!

Light tackle fishing the "pocket water" and eddy pools on any creek or river. Yegua creek is definitely a fisherman's paradise. Yegua Creek  Onion Creek

We have a place across the road from the Perdernalis just outside of Fredericksburg. My buddy across the road has a mile of water front. I take my mule over there in less than 5 minutes to my favorite spot.

If ya' snooze ya' lose.. From daybreak until the shad move deep the whitebass and hybrid stripers will be up near shore feeding on them.. This is about as fun as fishing gets and this feeding pattern will likely continue through the summer and into the fall.

Wherever theres water, fish, a little space and time to fish thats paradise for me.
I always like the moment when I make that first cast. It like a massive reset button. It doesnt matter what Im going after or where Im fishing.
