I like his videos because I enjoy watching someone who you can see gets joy out of fishing, all you old trolls need to go fishing more and get off the internet.

I keep seeing the word "troll" come up in this post. The funny thing is, I know a hand full of the guys in this thread, and a few of them catch numerous 8+ lbs fish a year. The difference is we don't talk about them or boast about them, or claim them as something they TRULY aren't.

I still think there is a little brilliance in what he does...he lays low for like 2-3 months then becomes a collector of "share-a-lunkers" and gets 10 full pages of banter about it....call it click bait, idiot bait, #lookatme, whatever....but he's accomplished his goal from what I can see.

As stated before, Chase knows exactly what he's doing. The title is on purpose, the timing all of it. Everything is on purpose as this is the new age we live in. It's all about like and subscribe and click-bait... whether it's legit it not.

I think Chase is smart enough to know that it doesn't matter if they're talking good about you or bad about you as long as they're still talking about you.

How upset does the "Click bait" crowd get when a movie doesn't live up to the hype? Some of the people on this thread seem like you are taking it as personal attack on you that he is calling an 8# a SAL. I cant imagine how pissed you would get when the movie previews tells it is going to be the "Best movie YOU have seen in years" and that movie ends up letting YOU down.

Nobody is "feeling attacked" by him. Just, it's kinda like my neighbor that bought a USED Caymen and brags about being a Porsche owner all the time. Even though it AINT Exactly a super car. Or even fast for that matter. My Toyota truck is faster than his damn "Porsche".

An 8 pound fish, while exceptional and somewhat hard to catch, just, IMO, is NOT worthy of the SAL moniker.

Depending on which Cayman the guy has, 0-60 is anywhere from 3.6-5.3 seconds where a Tundra is rocking a 6.4 second 0-60... So no, your truck is not faster.
