Fished repeat guests Dan, Chris and their two friends down from Arizona. Boated 200+ in about three hours. All released. Some males were still doing their thing. They caught some nice magnums but, had to wade thru the dinks for em. Crew voted not to leave fish to find fish. They were having too much fun. Pretty much non stop action. Folks from Arizona were telling us their lakes were always crowded with fishermen and couldn't believe only a few boats out here. Caught the most fish ever and all of that. Pulled up to fish another spot but, they were worn out. Left em biting. Had a great crew with lots of fun by all. Water temp 61. Depths 23-26'. Wind was a bit much. Kevin hired me for a teach trip this morning. He had a small window to get out due to his work schedule. We had to rush a bit to finish with the weather getting dicey. Didn't have time to fish but, hope Kevin can get back out and rip their faces off. We both got soaked with rain gear..... Have two openings next week if anyone is interested. My Dad used to tell me I did not have the sense to get in out of the rain. I don't think it was a compliment. I was going to go but with the weather decided to let them rest.

David, it good to finally meet you, it was tough, with the wind and cloud cover most of the day. We did finally find a few and then they shut down again. Be back out monday & tuesday probably, hopefully with a little less wind.

John, tray came with the boat. Tim @ Fun N Sun could probably order you one. 817-280-0303. The pretty lady and hybrid also came with the boat. I wish.... DG, winds were tough yesterday. Today was the gulf of Eagle Mountain. Miserable out there. SE25 with gusts up to 35. Marked plenty just tough to stay on em. Fortunately, a teach trip with no pressure to catch. My tail is dragging. Thursday, fished Rowdy, his Dad down from Iowa and Craig. Pretty much a carbon copy of Monday's trip. Boated 200 or so with some nice mags. They kept 75 for a fry. Less wind on Thursday tho. Another great crew. They had a blast. Left em biting. Water temp 64. Depths 20- 28'. Rowdy is an excellent taxidermist. Would highly recommend him. He did a hog mount for me and turned out awesome. Rowdy Tomlinson 817-919-0884. David www.davesguideservice.net

I had the great opportuntity to meet David a couple of weeks ago when the fishing was really tough due to the recent rain. I really appreciate the fact that he was so willing to share his knowledge of the lake. He really does know the lake and what he is doing. Thanks for helping to turn a really tough day into a a decent day.
Get a kid hooked on fishing.....they will never be able to afford drugs

Thanks for the kind words fellas. Lake looks to be up about a foot and a half with yesterday's rain and rising. River is still flowing. Was above flood stage last night. DG, you have a PM. David www.davesguideservice.net
