Several people have posted wondering about the status of this pier. Here's the lowdown:

Looks like they could find a cheaper way of doing this. One way might be to hire a good, C&W band and throw big shindig on the pier. Invite all-comers and give free beer. If the pier stands up to that, it's good to go.

I thought for sure it would be open by this summer. Unfortunately it looks like it may be next year at this point.

Wow! Thanks for sharing... 10-4am freelined shrimp under the lights=good times.. hopefully it passes inspections! Lots of memories with my boys comes from Horace!
