Went Saturday to one of my creeks feeding the lake to my East and only managed to put 6 in the box. Fish were located under a newly downed cottonwood tree in about 10ft of water. They were anywhere from 1-8 foot under the limbs. Sunday after lunch I headed to the lake to my West. Managed to put 13 in the box with the biggest going 14 3/4. Found a few fish on some visible timber in about 13 FOW. Once the North wind laid after 6pm I was able to get on a couple brush piles. Tried the first one in 12FOW and nada. Moved to 18FOW and caught several before they turned off. Moved about 100yds to one in 21FOW and caught the rest. They are starting to get on the piles, just not real concentrated yet. Fish were caught on jigs that were given to me at the ramp one day by a gentleman who made them himself out of opossum fur. He is pretty well known for his crappie fishing.

Nice catch!

I wonder if those oppossum hair jigs look like a dead minnow to a crappie... and then come to life...
