15lb. green big game, just like fishing a spinner bait to me, I fish them in the same junk.

It depends. 12-17 is the weight range, but cover, wind, actual depth I'm trying to get to, and a few other conditions dictate which choice I'll use.

I use mono as well, p-line 12-15 lb test for me. You can really feel the thump with the lighter line.

I use a 19lb copolymer line from Sunline....stuff is amazingly thin and strong
