The only Peacock bass fishing I am aware of in Florida is down around Miami. Don't know anything in the immediate Panama City area. I would go over to the Apalachola River. Been lots of year ago but it use to be great fishing. I would also try Lake Talquin. Both are around 1 1/2 hours from Panama City. Another good alternative is to look up some of the local Bass Clubs in that area and get some info from them.

No peacocks and really no bass either. If youd want to head about an hour north Id be glad to read if I could take you out on lake Seminole. Its a legendary bass like with a chance t some giants

Titles like this should be limited to people who are stranded on the water, boat ramp, or something else. Advice on fishing in Panama City is the last thing I expected when I opened this.

Also, you are limiting your replies. How about a subject like "Bass fishing in Panama City"?????

Maybe it's my OCD. But I consider this "forum clickbait".

Oh and for the fishing, google will have more stuff than a Texas fishing forum. Google search on bass fishing in PCB

Also, my rule of thumb (living in Dallas) is to hit the saltwater any chance I get. Forget the bass, go after some saltwater fish.
