I'm worse....
I've bought rod a reel combos, several at that, that are technique specific to baits I've bought that I don't EVER use.

I own plenty now, so when I retire, I won't have to buy any more. That's when I'll use them all  That won't work...

Not sure which baits but I own about 200 lbs of them that have never left my cabinet in the barn.

A Jig....never caught a bass off of one....ZERO confidence! so i rarely tie it on.

A Jig....never caught a bass off of one....ZERO confidence! so i rarely tie it on. This is what I'm afraid of. I'm new to fishing outside of ponds and I just don't have confidence with the jig yet. They look cool with a fat trailer so I keep buying them.

was that purchased because of the Falcon Lake stringer that was reportedly caught using this from 7 or so years ago?

A-rig. I've got several and have caught fish on them, but during the time when they really shine I much prefer an underspin, scrounger head, or just a regular swimbait. It's not that I hate them or anything, it's just that they always get put aside for something more favorable.

big fat swimming rat,...purple. not my fault.  I have the mid size one in that color and have caught fish with it on lake Athens.

Buzzbaits. Have never even had a fish look at one that I can remember. Wow, I love throwing a buzzbait. I have a lot of extra tackle that I don't use because the boat is already full but one bait that I have a bunch of but rarely throw is a hard jerk bait.
