Launch at Johnsons and go to left. Drop troller and catch some fish. Thats a main release site for the guides in those trees. Always stacked

I would go to Sand Island area or Big Green Break. Tie on a Watermelon Seed Super Fluke and hit the wood on the cypress trees. Use weightless and let it sink.

Texas is fine. A NW wind isnt too bad. Anything easy sucks though. NE wind and main lake sucks.

Have not been on the lake in a while but when I fished it regularly this time of the year most of the big bites i got were still on isolated trees but numbers were in the grass. The longer away from the spawn it was the more the fish related to the grass. It was easier when they were in the grass due to the number of trees you would fish before getting bit. If you could find good hydrilla it was on.

The bite has been real good. Check out my facebook page under Allens Guide and Tour Service to see some pics of the kind of fish being caught. Most coming off isolated cypress trees....but not everywhere! Water is Salvinia clean and in good shape. Come Fish Caddo!
