Which is slower- an aluminum ranger or a fiberglass ranger?

Only new boat I ever bought was a 1986 Ranger 375v. Only warranty work was on motor. The tilt and trim was leaking down and trim sender broke. After a used Tidecraft and Laser both of which came apart I talked to several fiberglass repair folks and they said Ranger hands down. Sold the boat Last year and hull and floor were sound. The boat had the front live well which was known to cause problems with deck bit fix was easy. I will never buy another new one. There is a Champ 22 bay in Marrere La. that I would probably look at if I did not already have one. The only 22 bay I found while looking with a 250 sold before I could get to it. The Champ in La is very nicely equipped.
