You're rushing into this. I've been looking into this for 7 years Ive known you 4 years, you had your previous boat out a total of 5 times since ive known you, youre rushing into this. That is because fishing with you draws the life out of me. Constant map checks, breaks, snags, no fish... gets old.

Yep, but they'll float in Texas too. Those Florida style flats skiffs are awesome, but best suited to fly fishermen.

Id buy the boat you like the most. A little more of a drive that you will seldom make isnt that big of a deal IMO. This, except I'd say "YOU buy the boat you like the most..." I ain't buying you a boat, but that is a very kind offer from Paul. Was feeling generous I guess

When the big boys are out in Sabine Lake in their giant fiberglass boats with 250-300hp Suzukis they always make unkind quips about the tin boat crowd. However the tin boat crowd are always zippping around catching fish. The only thing you really have to worry about is people making fun of you at the bat ramp because of your homemade bowl haircut.
