Did anyone hear about Lake Lavon and foul smell in the water (possible sewage)? Not sure how this will affect the fishing or the lake as a whole.

I have not heard about it, but that is really gross, I hope they figure out the issue soon and fix it. Probably for sure has something to do with the water treatment center there.

Funny thing is anglers are just now finding this out. That area has been a waste water disposal for years. Warm and stinky year round.

I have never noticed it over the last ten years. Water always clear and clean coming out of that water treatment center. The water comming out of there has a different smell I agree, but not smelly in my opinion. Nothing close to sewage smell.

I believe Carey Thorn has a video on You Tube of methane gas bubbles being released from underwater on Lavon from a few years ago. I'm not sure if that could be the smell some anglers are talking about or not...but it's food for thought.

Is this the Wilson Creek Treatment plant?

If it's legal ain't no way in hell it's catch and release, it's CATCH & GREASE, except ROUGH (TRASH) Fish

YEP

Once again. Never fish in Lavon. Go other places!
