Check air bnb there used to be little A frame house on there to rent.

I have a tent that I can rent you, sleeps 4 comfortably.

We stayed at Lone Star Lodge during spring break.
This was our first time on this lake.
Pros:
Beautiful place high on the side of a hill overlooking the water.
Not too far from Pilot Point.
Boat slips available.
Lodge is not too far from the State park boat ramp.
Clean rooms and Friendly staff.
Sufficient parking for trailer etc.
Cons:
You have to trek that hill to and from room to water. Not a piece of cake.
Miserable beds. We were a party of three families and all experienced same. We are not usually fussy with stuff like that.
Rooms have very very very thin walls. Family next to us had birthday party with lots of kids. At 10:00pm my wife had to go next door and ask them to please be considerate. Again, we are not usually fussy about such. Miserable night. Just like the party was happening in our room.
Boat slips are extra $35/night. Never mentioned in the booking. If you require charging batteries, you are better off trailering the boat.

Not trashing the place as it was very beautiful and we had a great time. But strictly due to the beds and thin walls, don't see us going back there.

Options are not great, probably better camping at the State Park, just get a site with electric.

Stay in Denton and drive the 20 minutes to the lake.

We always stay at the 4 horseman in Pilot Point. Sometimes there are a few shady characters around but we have never had an issue there in all the years of staying at the place.
