Moving to Lake Tyler from Houston. Anyone have any tips for Lake Tyler? Will be on the north end of East Lake. Have fished it sporadically, but has been a few years since I was on it.

Lots of good fishing out there. Locals are very quiet about Tyler. If you have good electronics look for brush piles and long points. Boat docks are always a spot to fish but beware some dock owners don't like you banging on their property. Many small tournaments there during week and Saturday. Tyler does get beat up during the summer So many ski boat jet ski and pleasure boats, Most fishermen move to night time during the summer on Tyler.
Hope this helps you some and welcome to East Texas If you miss Houston go to Loop 323 and broadway at 5pm and travel south.
