Thanks Park! This place looks very cram. Is it shallow water ? It's a creek, and I can tell you from experience that it's only shallow in a few areas. I waded in to try and retrieve my granddad's fish that got caught in a snag, and stopped after I was up to my chest in mud that sank down 6in+. I was just 5-10ft away from the snag as well...

Are you still baiting the area prior to fishing the carp ? I tried baiting one of the area for 3 days but the 4th day I couldn't go for the fishing. ha ha So just wondering if baiting the area before is an essential part for catching some carp.

If could not go 4th day - go 5th or 6th! Just go get them! Baiting of the new spot helps a lot, especially if you are going to use some bait that is less know to a local carp. But carp will come if you cham. Or, if you use pack bait/feeder.
Light tackle carp fishing vet. PB carp: common 27lb - mirror 27.5lb - grassy 42lb - ghost 14lb

I try to bait every time before I fish. I've only fished once without prebaiting, and still caught quite a few. Last time I went to Grapevine, I didn't have a lot of time and went the night before and dumped a load in, had quite a bit of luck then as well. Prebaiting isn't a sure thing, as I've caught very little before with a 3 day baiting campaign, but I like to think it increases my chances significantly.

Thanks Man !!
Will be baiting some areas prior to carp fishing.
I myself thing that it is important to bait the area first for few days. It draws the carps for sure. Just have to stick to it now.
Will share the results on the form..
