If it's this weekend the weather is going to be all over the map. Mid 80's on Friday and then a low in the mid 30's Friday night. High Saturday of only mid 50's.......oh ya: and 20mph north winds. With these conditions I would probably fish Landon Branch. It's the 1st big deep creek on the east side(Waco side) of the lake as you head south from the dam. It goes way up under Lake Shore Drive. Look on Google Maps and you'll see what I'm talking about. Good deep water all the way back and with the lake less than a foot low there will be enough wood to flip jigs or plastics to your hearts content. It's a good big deep creek. May not be a "secret spot" with the north wind but that's where I'd go. Put in somewhere on the dam side though. The dam is basically on the north end and it will block the north wind. Other option is go up the Bosque River(also by the dam-west side) I know, it doesn't make sense: dam on the north end and rivers entering by the dam. As said, look on Google Maps. Put in @ Airport Park and run across dam to Landon Branch or fish all the little cuts/creeks on the north end or put in at Flat Rock ramp and shoot up the Bosque. Good luck!

Good luck buddy! Good to see younger folks actually doing something with their life rather than eating tide pods
