Which favorite rod would you choose for square bills and traps maybe a spinner bait every now and then?
I have looked at the white birds just would like to know if anyone has tried them.

For smaller square bills, I love my Falcon lowrider 20 medium action, 7�. I think it�s an LC-17 but I could be off on that. Limber and can really sling those light baits. I like mine on 10 or 12 lb Invisx flourocarbon. Lots of feel to it.

Isn't that the rod the youtubers use?
Hard to beat a Dobyns 705cb glass Champion.
If you are looking for a cheap rod the Fury 705cb is hard to beat for $110.

Don't waste your money on Favorite rods.
If youre going to spend money, get something a little better and worth your buck.
Falcon
Power Tackle
Dobyns
Impulse
These would be the 4 I'd look at. All 4 great rods and very much worth your money!

Seems like some of you guys are just bashing the Favorite Rod brand because they're in relation to the "Googan" squad.
To the OP, I have not personally tried one of those rods. However, they seem to be pretty popular. To be honest, it's hard to find a bad rod nowadays, as so many companies are making quality stuff. If you think it's worth your money then definitely go for it!

Go to Walmart and buy a Berkley cherrywood rod for like $25 and you'll have bought a lot better rod
