I've walked up to a couple of den sites along the canadian river breaks in the panhandle.
encountering one snake is not good, dozens is much worse.

WHAT IF SNAKES ARE JUST TAILS WITH FACES?
Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.
If you put beans in your chili, you don't know beans about chili.
God doesn't create temporary people, you will spend eternity somewhere. Choose wisely.

I definitely would have eaten those.
I've always wanted to try snake. Anyone ever had it? I bet it could be good if cooked right.
If anyone kills a big snake, let me know and I'll take it off your hands.

Yeah I would think a bigger snake would be better since there isn't much meat. I wonder if the meat gets tougher with bigger snakes? If I had one I would probably try grilling it first.

not sure a pellet gun would have been my weapon of choice in that situation, but seems he made it work OK.

Guy at work killed a 5' rattlesnake, he skinned it, guilted it took it home and salted it and he said in two weeks it would be ready to eat. No cooking necessary. He said that was his favorite way to prepare them.
