Buddy and I were gonna do guide trip out in East Texas. Guide said it's a no go frown

We're gonna fish a little closer too home. Guess I'll be loading the kayaks in the pickup.

Any campgrounds y'all would recommend on hubbard with some bankfishing access?

I'd Tack That!!

Lots of Yak access from the dam and the 380 bridge, as well as the ramp in the river

Great lake that is on its come back. Was out there a couple of weeks ago and caught a ton of number, a few quality but lots of 1-2 lb fish.

The park on the west end of the dam is about the only place. It has a ramp and campsites and restrooms.
The lake is nearly full and is fishing great. probably as good as any lake you can go to.

Seriously, there is a nice camp called The Village on Hubbard Creek that has some decent bank fishing and decent rooms. Really a nice facility. Crappie might be moving up to spawn.
