If I have a Lifetime Fishing License in Texas do I still need a Texoma license to fish that lake? Just checking so I’m legal when I go. Thanks.

Yes and no. You do not need an Oklahoma license if you only fish the Texas side of the water. Since it is difficult to tell while on the water, I suggest getting a Texoma license that protects to you against a ticket.

If your going to be in the river(main lake) spend the $15, and not take a chance. Any licence dealer can issue them.

The Red River channel practically touches the Texas shore in several locations so its almost impossible not to fish in Oklahoma on Big Tex. The Texoma license is dirt-cheap compared to the fines.

You don't need Texoma license if you have a TX and OK license.
