A good friend of mine is in the running for the Dallas mavericks teacher of the year. He teaches special needs students at the middle school that we went to many years ago. How do we know he is the best special needs teacher? Others are on there also are special needs teachers. What makes your friend so special and deserving of this vote?
Where does he stand as far as building the wall?

Dang dan he�s just trying to help a buddy, you can bet others are doing the same- It�s not an official job rating, just don�t vote if you are offended by this- Thats all well and good but I need to understand some context on the candidates qualifications. I like to make informed decisions. My vote counts and I will not cast it unless I feel I understand his friends platform and qualifications. I mean, what does he know about the Russians? Is he pro-life? Where did he go to school? What really qualifies him to win this prestigious honor? I mean its just not anyone that can be the Mavericks teacher of the year if you ask me. It takes a special one.

Dan, your putting too much thought to this. Thanks to all who have voted! You could be right. However I do feel we all have the responsibility as citizens to cast our votes in a responsible and informed manner. If we begin getting flippant with who will be the Dallas Mavericks educator of the year whats next? Its a slippery slope my friends. I will set some time aside to watch all the videos from all the candidates, then do some fact checking and independent research on my own prior to making a vote. I do appreciate your endorsement of your friend and will weigh that accordingly when I make my decision.

Can't tell if you are being sarcastic or a lunatic, or both. It's a simple competition that the mavericks put on each year. We aren't voting for state officials or government positions.
