I have a 20 foot skeeter bay. We love it. Plenty of storage. Easy to see where everything is when you are driving. The high gunnels make you feel very secure when moving around in the boat. Mine is a little narrow on the front so it would not be wide enough for double crappie seats. Also my seat is a little too close to the front to make a foot pedal possible. We have a riptide saltwater handle steer trolling motor. The express boats I have seen seem to have a lot less storage, but they are also much cheaper than the skeeter.

Ive owned 2 and both were Express CC. I moved to to thee 21 with 115 Yamaha and fished all over Texas with it. They are very light to trailer and handles very well. Great for taking kids fishing due to the high sides and easy to get around in the boat. Sold mine after my BIL passed

Don't be afraid of the light it is just me looking for a place to fish.

I went from a 19 bass boat to an 18 center console xpress and recently moved into a 22 center console xpress. I love it and couldnt imagine going back to a bass boat. The center consoles just have so much more room to walk around vs a bass rig.

If you are going to go xpress make sure you get the hyperlift hull though. The 18 I had was a standard mod v hull and wasnt a pleasant ride in a chop. My new one with the hyperlift hull rides as good as most glass bass boats

I used to have a bass boat and at the end of the day getting up and down out of a seat that was nearly on the floor was tough. Love my center console, I wont be going back...

Can you sit on the seat of the xpress and reach the steering or do you have to stand?

Yes you can sit down to drive and still reach the wheel. They have an optional flip down foot rest to use while sit down to drive.

I always felt the same way, but you have to walk around in an Express out on the water. It is as stable as my 18' Fiberglas boat.

I recommend Shipps Marine if you are going to go that route.

Agree with CrappieXpress. Hyperlift hull is very important. The ride and loading is much better.
Sartin Marine at lake fork is the dealer I recommend. They have always been fair and honest with me.

I've got an 18' Xpress CC and love it, so I can only imagine how nice having 24" extra inches would be...or at least that's what I've been told....

I looked at the Express 22' version when I was buying a couple years ago. I went with the Crestliner 2200 Bay instead and I'm very happy with my decision. Give it a look.

I had a 2000 model 18' xpress CC. It was a very good boat for me. Went everywhere from the creeks to the salt. I would imagine a 20' would even better.
