Gentlemen,
I have been blessed with having the last week of March and first week of April off of work. We would really like to spend that time sight fishing for bed fish. With all the rain we have had I know there are some visibility issues in East TX. I will go anywhere in the state, I would like to fish 2-3 lakes. Fork is already on the list as we go there every year and will be there end of 2nd week. Please help me with what lakes would be best, I don't need spots or info just to know where water is clear enough to see bed fish. Thank you for the help in advance

Go to Athens, water is clear and plenty of great site fishing opportunities. Also, Kurth Lake outside Lufkin has always been great for site fishing.

Go to fork, kurth get in line on weekends. You won't see anything on kurth you wouldn't find on fork plus there's a better chance at a 12+ on fork

LBJ has got clear water on the lower half. The shallow canals with the concrete boat slips should have a few in there.

Go to Alan Henry and/or Amistad. Long drives but awesome for sight fishing and you have a chance to find big fish.

Go to PK. Fishing is great now & gin clear water on the lower-end. The full moon on 3-31 should stack them on the bank. Thank me later!

Kurth is a great little lake, I'm sure some of the best texas sight fishers on tour used to really like going there for a reason.
