The last two times I went out the nose of my boat hasnt wanted to lift up onto the roller of the trailer. Never had this issue any of the dozen times I took the boat out since I got it. I tried backing in further as well as keeping the trailer way up and could not get the nose of the boat above the trailer without lifting it. Anyone had this problem before that can suggest something I look for to diagnose the issue?

You trimming up a little for the final push onto the trailer? Typically, when the nose of the boat hits the roller or underneath it, I have the trailer too shallow. But I can usually trim up a little and power it up over the roller.

Stupid question....but, are you trimming the motor to the top? It will give bow lift and a boat should easily bump the roller.

Or......maybe it's time to thin out the tackle...lol That could be it too if most of his weight is forward. Balance that ride with the heaviest stuff in back and the rest as evenly distributed as possible.

is it the same at a different ramp...? Most lakes are pretty full ...which moves your loading up higher on the ramp. The trailer angle can change a lot in a couple feet of extra water.

Typically when I have this problem its because the trailer is backed too far into the water. Sometimes on a steeper ramp it looks like the trailer is way to far out of the water for it to work but it does. Be sure to trim up though also.

It is the same ramp. Jordan ramp at Ray Roberts. I havent moved any tackle around from where it originally was. I trim all the way up to just before the change in trim speeds happen. I thought maybe something came loose on trailer but I dont see anything.

Parking the trailer too deep. This As mentioned, I tried with the trailer way shallow too. Had the issue both ways. One guy mentioned I may need a V-Block on the trailer but I dont understand why this issue all of a sudden came up when it didnt happen before.

Parking the trailer too deep. Exactly! Leave enough trailer out of the water so the trailer bunk boards lift the boat enough so the nose goes over roller. The only time this an issue for me is when fishing solo and loading alone on a ridiculously steep ramp(like Welsh). In this rare case Ill need to start the boat onto the trailer before its actually backed quite far enough into the water and winch the boat up the rest of the way over the roller.

Have you inspected your trailer for damaged rails? With all the other stuff above pretty much covering it that is the only other thing I can think of.
