Need some opinions on the best culling system out there. Have always used the cheap puncture type but they don't seem to last long. Clips seem like a good idea but have read lots of poor reviews on the G-Force conservation clips so maybe they're out. Idk, Any advice?

Used the Cal Coast 2.0 this weekend. Fell in love with it. Probably the easiest system I’ve used

Jim are you looking for the non puncture clips or the old school type?
If it's the old school ones, I know a local guy that makes some good ones.

Thought I was looking for the clip style until I read so much negative reviews about em (G-Force)not working well. So I'm open minded.

Culling? You can do that? I usually just catch my five and then go home.

From the TPWD,,,, put the fish in the livewell and it counts towards your daily possession?
Possession of Fish Taken from Public Water Any fish caught must be taken by legal means and methods.
Fish caught and immediately released are not considered to be in your possession. Any fish not immediately released that are retained by using any type of holding device such as stringer, cooler, livewell, or bucket are considered in your possession and must adhere to established protected length and bag limits.
While fishing, it is illegal to be in possession of more fish than the daily bag limit or fish that are within a protected length limit.
In order to verify length and species, a fish caught may not have the head or tail removed and may not be filleted until an angler finally lands the catch on the mainland, a peninsula, or barrier island not including jetties or piers and does not transport the catch by boat. For broadbill swordfish and king mackerel, the head or tail may be removed but the remainder of the carcass must remain intact and may not be filleted. For sharks, only the head may be removed. The remainder of the carcass (including the tail) must remain intact and may not be filleted.
Any fish taken from public water and landed by boat or person in Texas must adhere to the protected length limits and daily bag and possession limits established for those fish in Texas, regardless of the state or country in which they were caught.
The bag limit for a guided fishing party is equal to the total number of persons in the boat licensed to fish or otherwise exempt from holding a license minus each fishing guide and fishing guide deckhand multiplied by the bag limit for each species harvested.

I have used the Cal Coast clips for over a year and love them. I have put 3+# fish on the cull clips and hooked to the beam and they hold just fine. They have terrible reviews, and did prior to me buying as well, but I have had no issues. I have heard very good things about the 2.0 version as well.

I was given the TH-Marine G Force, non-puncturing ones for Christmas. Admittedly, I just went with the name brand, not doing much research.
Having used them a couple of times, they're not as bad as I originally thought they could be. They take about 2 1/2 hands to use while holding a fish. You have to cinch down the clip, which takes two hands, and the other 1/2 of a hand is for holding the fish.
I'm gonna keep them and all, but if I was getting another one, I'd go with a style that clamps like a vise grip, rather than one that cinches down like the G-force.

http://www.glorybag.comNever have to injure the fish by tearing a hole in their mouth. This system is used by Mark Rose and keeps to fish calm decressing stress. They are on a great sale right now.
