It was TOUGH for us the day of and pre-fish, 3-5 bites per day. I'm sure there were some that caught them but not many I saw.

we stayed in muddy water to stay away from the crowd. Caught all males on weightless in less than 1 foot of water. We caught approx. 15 and had 3 in the box but they were not fat so we never went to weight in. Caught 1 that we had to measure 3-4 times that was a very very fat 16-1/8 so that was exciting and disappointing but we had a great time. Used my new ultrex also so that was cool.

Why were the two unders able to win hours? Kyle, There are hourly winners in pretty much every event at Fork, even the giant events. The year I won it there was a 2.32 that won a new Dodge Truck.

Ken....I have seen it myself but there are usually some stories with each one. Like the time a guy with a 7lbr bluffed the others with bigger fish into waiting when he walked us at the last second. There were some heated folks with bigger fish that got fooled. I think Sinky won once with an under when an over didnt measure. I like to hear what happened since I wasnt there. Looks like a few overs were weighed in the last hour.....were they there earlier when the unders won or were there no overs waiting in the tanks for those hours?

I had the 2.52 in 11 hour. Last couple minutes got bumped by the 2.55. There were no overs at the tanks.

We weighed in a 2.67 in the last hour and took 5th. Typically the last hour will have smaller weights brought in. Not this time. Should have brought it in when it was caught instead. Would have had 14,300.00 more.

We set up where we had been catching them. Unfortunately for us, they moved about 50 yrds to our left and we watched another boat just smoke them all morning. We caught about 10 or 15 and only had one that was 2 lbs even on our scales, and that was not worth the run. Couple of nice slots though. Still fun as always.
Redman- yes. When I won with the 2.77 a guy weighed an over in at the last second. They measured that fish for like 5 minutes it seamed. But it was not 24. Not sure if there was another guy at the tank or not.
